Anyone who has kids and an email address will get emails warning you about what is safe and what isn’t. For example, last week folks on both coasts received emails about puppies needing homes, but it was a hoax. Today I got something about the safety of the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (famous among moms for getting crayon markings off painted walls), and headed straight to snopes to check it out. Snopes is a great place to find our which forwards are authentic, and which are falsehoods. Techies like my husband have been using it for years and it seems like the rest of us are just getting clued in to what a great resources Snopes is.
