I came across your blog as I read about your blueberry picking adventure (I have been there last year and loved it). I live in Ashburn and had no idea about this playground! Thanks for sharing. My 14th month old girl will have a ball.

The preserve does offer a visit into mostly unspoiled natural habitat. There are numerous - well marked trails but navigating them can be confusing so print off a map from home before your departure b/c the office is not open every weekend. DO a thorough tick check before leaving and again when you get home, the ticks from Banshee Reeks are persistent little critters.

We too have seen Rocknoceros at Jammin Java. They have a great set up there and we just LOVE Rocknoceros. A great outing but get there early for good seats.

The one on Elden Street in Herndon (Fairfax County) closed as well. I am not sure about the one in the Dulles Town Center (it is still listed on their website but so is the one in Leesburg). I did enjoy the variety from Starbucks and the fact that a company was brave enough to counter the coffee giant; however, I guess it wasn’t a successful attempt!
